Good for the price.
Kind of
shabby and away from the main city but good for the price.

Conveniently located and friendly/helpful staff
the room was somewhat musty

For a student it was affordable, convenient and the staff was helpful. My only complaint was that the hotel is somewhat older and the room was a little musty smelling. The area was safe enough that I felt comfortable as a single college woman wondering to and from the cafes/metro station ...read more

Free internet, breakfast, friendly staff, available parking though limited.
Didn't like their shampoo or mouthwash. 5 blocks from subway, 8 parking spots only of which two handicap parking.

Elevator was large enough for a wheelchair.
Could not maneuver wheelchair in room.

No fruit or hot food options for breakfast. No place to eat except room. Limited options for handicapped folks. Needed to dramatically rearrange the furniture to allow the wheelchair to fit between the beds (no access between beds and walls). ...read more

Near to Railway Station and near to LGA airport.
Room was too small, Pathetic BF, smelly.

Room was small but clean. but outside of the hotel is not so clean, its smelly, elevator was smelly too.. Breakfast was horrible, bad muffin, bad cereal. For the price we pay it was not worth.

It was cheap and clean.
The lady at the front desk was not very the first day but then she was nice and the breakfast not that good, just decent.

Location,
easy to get around.
Didn't have the Yankee network (yes).

Rooms are clean and comfortable, desk help is very helpful. Night desk help really nice and friendly.

Clean. Safe. Early check in allowed. Afternoon desk clerk was efficient & nice smile.
Night desk clerk was annoying with a negative attitude.

The hotel seemed relatively new and it was clean and in better condition than many midtown hotels which would've cost 3 times as much. It felt safe and was within walking distance of food and transportation. It was convenient to the airport and a relatively short cab ride to NYC. This isn't a place with a lot of atmosphere, but it's good for business travel, or for those who have already experienced NYC and just need a reasonably priced room in close proximity to the city. If you aren't driving then plan to catch your own cab because the front desk staff is only authorized to call a private car for you which is expensive for the short ride into Manhattan. I'd stay there again rather than paying for a room in NYC, but for families with children it might be tight quarters. ...read more
