For a student it was affordable, convenient and the staff was helpful. My only complaint was that the hotel is somewhat older and the room was a little musty smelling. The area was safe enough that I felt comfortable as a single college woman wondering to and from the cafes/metro station ...read more

This isn't a place with a lot of atmosphere, but it's good for business travel, or for those who have already experienced NYC and just need a reasonably priced room in close proximity to the city. If you aren't driving then plan to catch your own cab because the front desk staff is only authorized to call a private car for you which is expensive for the short ride into Manhattan. I'd stay there again rather than paying for a room in NYC, but for families with children it might be tight quarters. ...read more
